The Long Awaited Dream

So I decided to start a blog. My name is Bryoni Currin.

          Throughout my life I have had a passion for photography and always knew and promised myself that I would one day be the owner of a fancy camera. In 2007 I purchased my first ever camera. R2500 later I owned a Canon PowerShot A570 IS. Looking back now, it is shocking how much money was spent on a camera that was just 7.1 megapixels with a whopping 4x-optical zoom! However, that camera was my precious (as Gollum would say).

          Even though I loved this camera, it was not even 6 months after purchasing it that I decided I was going to start saving for a fancy camera. In 2008 I set myself a goal to save up enough to buy my ever-desired fancy camera. Many times I was so close to having enough money, but other expenses would always come up and I would have to sacrifice my desire for a new camera. However, my drive to get a new camera never disappeared. Now in the year 2013, 5 years later, I am proud to say I finally reached my goal.

          I recently bought myself a long-awaited Canon EOS 650D. It took a very long four years to actually gather up the money (R8300) to go out and buy this beauty!

          So naturally, seeing as all the other photographers are doing it, I spontaneously decided to start up a blog. This blog, bryonicphotography.blogspot.com, is going to be very informal and will include photos taken only by me. Please share this blog with anyone and everyone.
